What is ImageCompare?

Image Compare is a digital inspection software for printed packaging material. You can check nearly every scannable material or PDF files against your released master file.

Who needs Image Compare?

This software was developed for the pharmaceutical, food and consumer goods industries. Packaging material can be tested according to FDA regulations and the process is recorded compliantly.

Why do you need ImageCompare?

You need ImageCompare to ensure that all the information (e.g. nutrition facts, ingredients, dosage, barcodes) on your packaging material is correct and that your high quality standards and requirements can be maintained in an efficient and safe manner.

Increased efficiency saving both time and costs

• An inspection with ImageCompare takes about 2 –3 minutes per comparison. The visual inspection(with or without lm) takes considerably longer.

• You can do a multiple comparison by scanning and comparing several packages of the same kind in one process.

• Expensive recalls are avoided by using digital inspection. From experience we can say that the payback time is 1 – 2 years on an average.

Security

• ImageCompare is very reliable and does not tire as the human eye after a certain period of time. All inspections are performed with the same accuracy, no matter if it is early in the morning or late at night or after long working hours.

• All deviations found are highlighted and documented. The user can concentrate on relevant deviations. The system conforms to FDA CFR 21 Part 11. 

Language-independent inspection 

• With ImageCompare you can check images, texts and all world languages, as the system is based on pixel comparison. With this procedure new languages can be inspected without a software update being necessary. 2/2

Digital, automatic documentation

• All steps are saved directly to the audit trail and can be checked by the responsible people at any time.

• All data is saved in a database. At the end of a project an inspection certicate can be printed out. By request, you can also issue an electronic release and an electronic signature after completion of an inspection.

Customization of the software according to your requirements

• By request, we can develop customized components to integrate the software into your system environment.

Braille inspection

• Braille inspection is performed according to ECMA-standard and Braille is also translated into plain text. A large number of languages are already included in the software. If you need more languages, you can request those to be included.
• Height measurement of the individual Braille dots can also be performed using our DotScan instrument. This inspection is to ensure the Braille dots meet the guidelines according to DIN EN ISO 17351.

Barcode inspection

• Barcodes are automatically identified, inspected, decoded and documented.

Easy handling of the system

• After a short practical training period the system can be used also by anyone whether computer literate or not.
